Nothing could have prepared me for this.

I thought I was setting out for a calm, scenic drive — instead, it felt like I had been cast in Fastback & the Furious 12: Hairpin Turns and Nervous Laughter.
Somewhere around the third tight bend, I swear a squirrel gave me a look of pure disappointment.
The Serpentine Road is a wild ride: a relentless string of hairpins and blind corners, that turn even the most confident driver into a full-time breath-holder.

The scenery is jaw-dropping — think sweeping valleys, dramatic cliffs, and the occasional “how-is-this-even-a-road” moment — but you barely get a chance to look unless you’re feeling particularly lucky (or particularly insured).
At times, it genuinely felt like Tokyo Drift —
Tires squealed (okay, maybe just my soul), and somewhere between gripping the wheel and shouting “Drift Queen!” to nobody in particular, I realised I hadn’t blinked in about four minutes.

All good fun, though: a little adrenaline, a lot of laughs, and just enough to earn yourself a well-deserved high 5 at the finish line. But hey, This road was definitely built by rollercoaster designers.
