One Mum, A Plan & A Bunch of Passenger Princesses

Valencia’s streets double as a colourful art gallery—complete with monocled llamas and suspicious-looking cats. We turned it into a family scavenger hunt, bought ourselves a peaceful stroll, and dodged post-trip graffiti requests. Worth it.

Street Art in Valencia: Where Llamas Wear Monocles & Kids Turn Critics

Valencia’s street art game is strong.

Like, really strong.

One minute you’re walking down a quiet street, and the next — bam! — a giant mural of a space llama wearing a monocle hits you in the face.

The kids turned it into a scavenger hunt — “Find the funniest one!” — which actually gave me a peaceful 30 minutes of walking while they pointed at walls and argued over whether that one cat painting was happy or plotting something.

Some of the murals are stunning, others are…well, more abstract.

But all of it gives the city this cool, creative vibe that feels alive.

Warning: May lead to your children asking if they can graffiti their bedroom walls.

Be strong.
